comerunthehiddenpinetrails replied to your post: “Are those brown eyes that I see?” She leaned closer to look at Anna’s eyes. She sighed a soothing sigh. “John has eyes as blue and deep as the sea…”

“Oh, I haven’t met him. I haven’t met Mary or Becca yet. They shouldn’t be shy creatures, though.” Changing the subject, “I suppose you know a lot of what I call the future. You can make plenty of prophecies. Good prophecies, I hope.”

“Yeah, I guess for you it’d be prophecy.”  Anna grinned.  ”Is there anything you want to know?  But I’m not sure I should tell everything…”

“I’m as tempted as you are. Though what fun is it to know what will happen and how? Oh perhaps, if you take out how there is this so fun. I don’t know…I’m afraid I’ll ask vaguely or too specific that it shall shock and bother me. Unless it’s something small and good.”

“Small and good,” repeated Anna with a smile, trying to think of something to tell her mother.  ”I don’t know if this counts as small…but the peace you and Dad made by marrying, has lasted all of my life so far!”

“I’m sure we (your parents) would like to contradict that it wouldn’t be a small event!” She clears her throat. “I wonder when will that time come. Not too soon.”

[Yeah! Contradicting history’s Rolfe and Poca marriage! XD]

“Oh, your wedding?” asked Anna, hiding her smirk.  It was a story she knew well.  ”Has Dad…er…asked you yet?”

“He assumed that I said yes—his words—but I wasn’t technically asked. I think I made a fuss about it, played around with his feelings—unconsciously done. He looked disappointed when I basically said I’ll always say yes to you, but Idon’tthinkweshouldbemarriedsoquickly.” She urged a weak smile.
