Anna grinned. ”When I was little you would bring me and Aiden and Mary into the woods all the time. Show us the animals, and the plants, and teach us how to swim and so on.” Her grin faded the slightest bit. ”Sometimes I wish I was still that little.”
“Everyday, everything feels drastically new when you’re a child. You’re beginning to discover things. Then you don’t reflect on it. You get in trouble, but them after a few times, you nod to yourself and say, ‘hmm, I should learn from this’,” Pocahontas mind dived into the memories of her childhood. She was a little mischief. “You guys must be a handful.”
